"PHYSICAL ACTIVITY: HEALTHY

HABITS"

Today the spanish students of the 4th and 5th grade of primary have attended a seminar called: "Physical activity: healthy habits", given by Mr. José Repiso, a technical sports assistant from the town council of Málaga. They have learnt the importance to do some physical activity, not only practicing a sport, but also playing with friends. They have learnt the benefits of doing physical activity to have a healthier and happier life

TRADITIONAL GAMES

After attending  the seminar about Physical Activity, students of the 4th and 5th grade have participated in a ghimkana with four traditional games that were played by their parents and grandparents some years ago, and that are still played by today's children.

The games were:
- The hopscotch.
- The "mate" .
- The handkerchief.
- Jump the rope.

Thanks to our teacher of Physical Education, Mrs. Pepi Morillo, they played these games in groups, during one hour, taking part in all of them. They enjoyed very much!
